Employee Performance and Discipline
Kristen will teach using a hands-on approach that focuses on real-life situations and experiences for licensed and unlicensed supervisors and school leaders in light of the new Arkansas LEARNS Act.
Many educators and school district supervisors may lack confidence in documenting employee misconduct or subpar performance. Others may feel perplexed by the implications of recent changes to the law (repealing both the Teacher Fair Dismissal Act and the Public School Employees’ Fair Hearing Act), unsure of how these changes will affect their daily lives, and what the role of the board will be moving forward. This course aims to inform leaders and empower supervisors to tackle workplace issues effectively, clarifying the significance of thorough documentation amidst the evolving landscape of due process.
Attendees, including board members, will receive 5 hours of credit for attending this workshop.
The number of registrants for this five-hour workshop will be limited, so reserve your spot soon. Lunch will be provided onsite and is included in the registration fee.
