2021 Virtual ASBA School Law Seminar
The 2021 ASBA School Law Seminar will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, as a virtual event. This one-day legal seminar is designed for school board members, school administrators, and attorneys.
Among the topics on this year’s agenda are:
- Construction-Related Contracts and Liability Releases: Why you should have *YOUR* lawyer review everything before you sign
- Title XIV: What you do not know about the new rules could really hurt you.
- How to Prevent Employee-on-Employee Harassment Claims: Everything You Need to Know About What You (Probably) Aren’t Doing.

The Seminar will be presented via Zoom and will begin at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. WHERE: Virtual via Zoom TRAINING HOURS: School board members will earn six hours of boardsmanship training credit. Continuing Legal Education for attorneys will be applied for through the Arkansas Continuing Legal Education Board. REGISTRATION: Registration is $135.00 per person. Requests for cancellation must be in writing to email@example.com. Cancellation requests received after February 2, 2021, will be refunded at 50 percent.
