Introducing AR Board Ed, ASBA's new online, on-demand learning platform designed to empower school board members and educational officials across Arkansas. With AR Board Ed, you can access courses at your convenience, anytime, and from anywhere. These courses are NOT live webinars but are designed for self-paced learning. You still have the option to participate in our in-person trainings and select live virtual sessions in real-time (Visit the "Registrations" tab in AR Board Connect to see a list of upcoming trainings). AR Board Ed is an additional avenue to complete training at your own pace and on your schedule.

AR Board Ed offers a range of courses tailored to enhance your knowledge and skills in educational leadership. Our user-friendly interface allows you to browse the course catalog without the need for a login, providing easy access to course descriptions, objectives, and content outlines. Check back often as we are always working to enhance our list of course offerings!

Register and Earn Credits

To enroll in courses and begin earning board training credits, you'll need to create an account. This personalized access enables you to track your progress, receive certificates upon completion, and participate in interactive learning experiences.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• When you register for and complete a course, your district will be invoiced for the amount owed. Please check with your superintendent before enrolling.

• The deadline to complete a course for the hours to count toward your current training year is December 31. If you complete the course by this deadline, your hours will count. Your hours may not show up on your AR Board Connect transcript right away, as we'll update them manually after the holidays.

• You may only earn credit for a specific course once. For example, if you attended the December 2024 New Board Member Institute in person or virtually, you cannot enroll in the online course for additional credit. Similarly, if a course is offered as both a one-hour standalone course and part of a full-day training, you may only earn credit for one of these options.

Getting Started

1. Browse Courses: Visit our course catalog to explore available offerings (no log-in needed).

2. Create an Account: Sign up to register for courses and access personalized features. After completing the sign up, you will receive an email to verify your account. Click the link in the email to confirm your account and get started.

3. Enroll and Learn: Select courses that align with your professional development goals and start learning immediately. Once you are logged in, click "Get this course" to enroll and begin learning!
