Registration is now open for the 73rd ASBA Annual Conference, happening December 9-11, 2026, at the Marriott-Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock! The conference is the largest annual gathering of Arkansas school board members. This year’s theme, “Where Leadership Finds Its Rhythm - Setting the Tone for Stronger Schools,” focuses on the role of strong, steady leadership in moving schools and communities forward.
Across three days, participants can earn up to 14 hours of DESE-approved training credit through engaging breakout sessions, meaningful networking opportunities, and inspiring general sessions designed to strengthen effective school board governance and support student success.

Headlining this year’s conference is Mickey Smith, Jr., a GRAMMY Music Educator Award recipient, eight-time Teacher of the Year, and nationally recognized educator and speaker. Blending music, storytelling, and a powerful message of purpose, Smith challenges education leaders to rediscover their passion and lead at “full volume.”
Attendees can also explore Commercial Affiliate exhibits featuring innovative products and services for districts, celebrate outstanding leadership through ASBA’s annual awards, and hear from talented student speakers and performers.
